Day 1 : Arrive in Nagpur

Traditional welcome on arrival at Nagpur airport by Travel Pals India executive with fresh marigold flower garlands. Atithi Devo Bhava (Guest is god) is our 'mantra'.

Day 2: Nagpur - Kanha National Park (265 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

Leisurely driven to the largest national park - Kanha National Park to stay in jungle resort for three nights.

Kanha Tiger Reserve, also known as Kanha–Kisli National Park. Park area is divided into two protected areas, Hallon and Banjar, of 250 and 300 km2 (97 and 116 sq mi), respectively. This Park was created on 1 June 1955 and was designated a tiger reserve in 1973. Today, it encompasses an area of 940 km2 (360 sq mi) in the two districts Mandla and Balaghat. According to recent surveys, the tiger population in the Kanha Tiger Reserve stands around 70-75. 

 

Day 3 & 4: Kanha National Park 

Early morning jeep safari to the Kanha National Park to see the King of the Jungle - the Indian Bengal Tiger along with leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha, foxes, jackals and Indian wild dog, Gaur (Bos gaurus) inhabits meadows and waterholes in the park. Blackbuck has become very rare and other wildlife flora & fauna. The reserve hosts around 300 species of birds and it’s home of moe then 1000 species of flowering plants.

Enjoy a picnic breakfast during the safari in the jungle is an unparallel experience to cherish.

Afternoon safari is also possible in case you are ready for a quick turn around to witness the jungle action. Evening bonfire with Tiger talks with the naturalist will add a crown to the feather of your jungle experience sharing their experiences of the jungle.

Day 5: Kanha National Park - Pench National Park (220 Kms / 5 hrs)

Continue journey by road to another jungle resort at Pench National Park for two nights. You might like to take a walk around the grounds of the hotel which are particularly good for bird spotting.

Pench National Park: Established in 1975 with an area of 257.26 km2 (99.33 sq mi). It was declared a sanctuary in 1965, raised to the status of national park in 1975 and enlisted as a tiger reserve in 1992. The national park consists of dry deciduous forests and much fauna and flora including tigers, various types of deer and birds. In 2011, the park won the "Best Management Award". As per latest Tiger Census, there are approx 40 tigers in the park.

Day 6: Pench National Park 

Early morning jeep safari to the Pench National Park to see the King of the Jungle - the Indian Bengal Tiger. You will see chital, sambar, nilgai, wild boar, Jackal. Also Indian leopard, sloth bear, Indian wolf, wild dog, porcupine, monkey, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, four-horned antelope & barking deer live in the park. The park is rich in bird life too as the park harbours more than 210 species including several migratory ones.

We will arrange a picnic breakfast during the safari to be enjoyed in the jungle.

Be ready for an afternoon jeep safari for a second chance to view the Tiger and the wildlife in action. Return to camp by dusk. Bonfire with Tiger talks and dinner. 
 

Day 7: Pench National Park - Tadoba National Park (220 Kms / 4.5 hrs)

Another morning safari is also possible in case you are ready for a quick turnaround to witness the jungle action. 

Ready for an exciting drive through jungles to the oldest national park of Maharashtra - Tadoba National Park to stay in jungle resort for three nights.

Tadoba National Park", also known as the "Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve". Total area of the tiger reserve is 1,727 Sq. km and created in the year 1955. The Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary was formed in the year 1986 and was amalgamated with the park in 1995 to establish the present Tadoba Andheri Tiger Reserve. As of August 2016, there are 88 tigers in the reserve, and 58 in the forests immediately outside the reserve.

Day 8 & 9: Tadoba National Park 

Early morning jeep safari to the Tadoba National Park to see Indian Tiger along with other wild animal as Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian civet, jungle cats, sambar, barking deer, chital, chausingha and honey badger. marsh crocodile, Indian python and the common Indian monitor. Terrapins, Indian star tortoise, Indian cobra and Russel's viper also live in Tadoba. 195 species of birds have been recorded, including three endangered species. The grey-headed fish eagle, the crested serpent eagle, and the changeable hawk-eagle. 74 species of butterflies have been recorded including pansies, monarchs, mormons and swordtails. Insect species include the endangered danaid egg-fly and great eggfly. Dragonflies, stick insects, jewel beetles and the praying mantis. A black panther was spotted in May 2018.

Day 10: Tadoba National Park / Nagpur (135 Kms / 3 hrs) / Bangalore (by air)

Today you have a short drive to Nagpur airport to board direct flight for Bangalore. On arrival, met & assisted by Travel Pals representative and transfer to hotel.

Evening free or walk around the hotel to have feel of Bangalore city.

Day 11: Bangalore / Mysore (145 Kms / 3.5 hrs)

Today you may visit Bangalore Palace, City Museum (Closed on Wed & Public holidays), Tipu's Palace etc. 

Leave Bangalore and head onwards to the charismatic city of Mysore. Enroute guided visit to 9th century temple - Srirangapatnam.

Day 12: Mysore

Enjoy a private tour of historic Mysore today with a local guide. See the Palace of the Maharaja (Mysore Palace) - It is the epitome of grandeur and extravagance that was during the British Raj. Built in the Indo-Saracenic style on the exterior (The palace is illuminated on every Sunday including public holidays, a nightly show with more than 100,000 bulbs).

Brindawan Garden – The main attractive feature of the garden is the ‘dancing fountain’ and St. Philomena's Cathedral which is a Catholic church. It was constructed in 1936 using a Neo Gothic style and its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. This is one of the tallest churches in Asia. 

Day 13: Mysore / Kabini (65 Kms / 1.5 hrs)

As you leave the city today you will head into the rural land surrounding Kabini Wild Sanctuary, one of Karnataka's best wildlife getaways.

Kabini Wild Sanctuary - Spread over 55 acres, it is an essential part of the Nagarhole National Park. It includes dense forests, lakes, steep valleys and streams. A number of herbivores, especially elephants or Asian elephants dwell in their natural habitat at Kabini Forest Reserve. Considered as an ornithologist’s paradise, the park is famed for housing a number of species of birds as well. Also it is home for Jaguar, Tiger and Black Leopard etc. 

Day 14: Kabini Wild Sanctuary

Early morning enjoys a Boat Safari. You will be taken upstream from the resort on the Kabini River to where the river itself separates the Nagarhole National Park from the Bandipur National Park. On the banks of the Kabini, one can witness the largest congregation of Asiatic elephants, peacefully feeding and getting on with their lives. In addition to diverse wildlife sighted on the extensive riverbanks, an opportunity to observe the Marsh Crocodile, Smooth-coated Otter, myriad water birds, Tigers, Leopards, Sloth bear, Indian Gaurs, Chital, Sambar, Gaur and more.

Be ready for an afternoon jeep safari to view the Tiger and the wildlife in action. Return to camp by dusk. Bonfire with Tiger talks and dinner.

Day 15: Kabini Wild Sanctuary

This morning a guided Nature Walk which is the best ways to explore the treasures of nature. A Naturalist would unravel the beauty of birds, insects, trees and wildflowers. The walk would take you along the banks of the Kabini river and then through the scrub and fields along the village roads.

Rest of the day free to explore the resort. You may have option of another boat / jeep safari.

Day 16: Kabini - Bangalore (230 Kms / 4 hrs) - Back home

Today we will transfer you to Bangalore airport to board international flight for onward destination with sweet memories of your India tour.
