Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Traditional welcome on arrival at Delhi airport by Travel Pals India executive with fresh marigold flower garlands and then transferred by air-conditioned exclusive car to your reserved hotel. Day free to relax and acclimatize.

Delhi is the capital of the modern India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning over a period from 11th to 20th centuries. 

Day 2 : Delhi - The capital city

Today enjoy a private guided tour of the capital city which highlights the great contrasts between Old and New Delhi. This includes visit to the magnificent Red Fort (exterior), the Jama Masjid - one of the Asia's largest mosque, enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride in the narrow by lanes of Old Delhi & Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.  

Afternoon tour of New Delhi to include Humayun's Tomb, drive past through Rashtrapati Bhawan (Viceroy's House), Parliament Building and halt for a photo stop at India Gate - war memorial. End your day with a visit to Qutab Minar - 73 mt. tall minaret.

Optional: There is an opportunity to visit the world famous 'Taj Mahal' - One of the seven wonder of the world at Agra by road or train but need 1 additional day.

Day 3 : Delhi - Alsisar (225 Kms / 5 hrs)

Driven to the unexplored north of Rajasthan state in the Shekhawati district in a small village of Alsisar to break your journey on the way to north-west of Rajasthan. 

​

You have plenty of activity options like Bullock cart dride, Camel cart rides, Jeep Safari, Camel & Horse safari, Pilgrimage tour to Rani Sati Temple, Fresco trail through various routes of Haveli, Heritage walk in the village and Visit to Salasar Temple, Castles and buildings. 
 
The entire district of Shekhawati which includes Nawalgarh, Dundlod, Mukundgarh, Alsisar are quite famous for their wall paintings.

Day 4 : Alsisar - Khimsar Fort (280 kms / 5 hrs)

Driven through the beautiful views of the countryside to a small village called Khimsar - At the edge of Great Thar Desert. 

Khimsar Fort - now a premium heritage hotel - it was constructed by Rao Karamsiji, the 8th son of Rao Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur. The construction on the fort began in 1523. Later adages to the fort included a zenana (ladies) wing, and a private regal wing built by Thakur Onkar Singh for himself. A part of the fort still forms the residence of the royal family of Khimsar. Hundreds of years of history unfold as you glance at its battle-scarred walls and stroll down its ramparts.

As you sip tea on the terraces you realize the beauty of being surrounded by acres of lush green gardens. A true rarity of any desert in the world!! Peacocks, parrots, pigeons and as many as forty-six varieties of birds greet you to add to the charm and splendour of this ancient fort.

Day 5 : Khimsar Dunes Village

A relaxed breakfast with rest of the day to enjoy the views and time at leisure at the fort.

Optional early morning wildlife adventure of a jeep safari to the Black Buck reserve.

By noon, transfer to the Khimsar Dunes by open jeep to check in your luxury tented accommodation with all facilities. A village nestles amidst sand dunes that seem to roll into eternity. Fortunately, access is only by jeep, camel or horseback. It is truly remote, rural and romantic!  

A colorful sunset amidst golden sands- even as you sip your tea! or a sundowner, followed by a meal around a bonfire - as million of stars blink benevolently down at you.

Day 6: Khimsar – Jaisalmer (290 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

Continue drive to west to Jaisalmer - the 'Golden City' founded in 1156. The city stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone and is crowned by the ancient Jaisalmer Fort.

Day 7 : Jaisalmer

Explore Jaisalmer city with your private guide and visit to Gadisagar Lake - A man made reservoir, Hanuman Temple, Jaisalmer Fort - It is one of the largest forts in the world. It was built in 1156 AD by the Bhati Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal, from where it derives its name and few old, beautifully painted havelies as Nathmal Ki Haveli, Patwan Ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli & Diwan Nathmal ki Haveli.

Evening, enjoy a camel ride with a sunset view from Sam Sand Dunes (40 Kms excursion from the city) with dinner on sand dunes along with local folk dances.

Day 8: Jaisalmer – Rohetgarh (315 Kms / 6 hrs) 

Driven across Jodhpur to a small village in the central Rajasthan to stay in a heritage hotel in a little village called Rohetgarh. 

You can enjoy a horse safari on the authentic Marwari breed of horses owned and maintained by the present royal family into the countryside giving you just the right insight into the local rural life of this richly cultured region.

Day 9 : Rohetgarh - Jodhpur excursion

A guided excursion (35 kms) to Jodhpur city sightseeing tour including grand Mehrangarh Fort - one of the largest forts in India, Umaid Bhawan Palace (now a grand heritage hotel) an architectural wonder, Jaswant Thada - a 19th century royal cenotaph,  Mandore Gardens - The beautiful gardens with high rock terraces make it a popular picnic spot. The garden has a gate known as the Ajitpol, which is decorated with paintings of the gods and goddesses of Indian mythology & walk through the Clock Tower - in the old city is a prominent land mark.

Day 10 : Rohetgarh - Ranakpur - Narlai  (95 kms / 2 hrs)

Morning drive to Narlai village tugged beautifully in Aravali mountain range.

En-route visit Ranakpur Jain temples, one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. It is home to an exceptionally beautiful temple complex in the Aravali ranges and a must visit for the tourists coming to this region. 

Stay in a beautifully restored haveli (small mansion)  hotel with a majestic & unique dinner setting.

Day 11 : Narlai - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (125 kms / 3 hrs)

Proceed to Udaipur via visit to the grand Kumbhalgarh Fort - compared to the Great Wall of China for its immense stone boundary covering the village of Kumbhalgarh over a hilltop.

Further we make our way to Udaipur, the city of dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravalli mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples.

Day 12 : Udaipur

Enjoy private guided visit to the city's popular Jagdish Temple with it's richly sculptured walls, further walk towards the City Palace compound gates through the narrow street. Visit the City Palace museum complex. It is located on the east bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex.

Visit Sahelion-ki-Bari - The 'garden of the maids of honour' brings to mind the lifestyle of the ladies of the court. You may also like to visit the Crystal Gallery which is a fine collection of crystals of every type & shape from the royal families of Udaipur over generations.

Enjoy a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola for mesmerizing views of the historic buildings of Jagmandir Palace, the Taj Lake Palace hotel white marble building, City Palace, Shiv Niwas & Fateh Prakash Palace hotel buildings.

Day 13: Udaipur - Lakshmansagar (200 Kms / 4 hrs) 

Continue drive to Lakshman Sagar village in Pali district to stay at Lakshman Sagar resort, is a chic re-interpretation of a quaint 19th century hunting lodge. The well thought of activities & non-activities have been tailored personally for guests in a captivating natural topography, ideal for mindless relaxation.

Day 14: Lakshmansagar

Day free to have experiences at the resort include yoga and meditation, guided nature walks, breakfast in the fields, vegetable harvesting, village tours & Raipur fort visit, customized juttis & jewellery, jeep safaris, a trek to Fatehgarh fort, sundowners on the Zanana terrace, local liqueur tasting, live barbeques & cocktails by the lake and local music performances etc.

Day 15: Lakshmansagar – Ajmer (125 Kms / 3 hrs) 

Continue your journey to Ajmer to stay in the heart of Rajasthan in a picturesque green oasis at Pratap Mahal. 

Visit Dargah Sharif - A sufi shrine (dargah) of the revered sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti and he was a 13th-century sufi mystic saint and philosopher. Moinuddin chisti is direct descendant of Muhammad by fathers line from imam hassan and mothers from imam hussain also called hasni-hussaini sayyed was sent to India to spread Islam.

Day 16: Ajmer – Pushkar - Jaipur (160 Kms / 3.5 hrs)

Today proceeds for Jaipur - "Pink city of Rajasthan" via exploring Pushkar town with your guide and visit to a 14th century Hindu temple - Lord Brahma Temple. This is the only existing temple dedicated to lord Brahma and Pushkar Lake – The lake is considered as one of the most sacred spots. The devotees believe that one dip in the waters of the lake on Kartika Poornima is equivalent to performing yagnas for several hundred years.

Day 17: Jaipur

Explore the grand Amer fort. Ascend the fort on a decorated elephant back, the way the kings use to travel at that time.

Later visit the City Palace museum and enjoy sumptuous food at the City Palace cafe (optional), Jantar Mantar - the observatory having instruments from 1728 AD for measuring celestial planet & star positions. Drive past the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal).

​

Evening visit to a hand block printing factory to witness the local art of wooden & metal blocks used for printing with natural colours on handlooms. If you have interest in gems & jewels then, Jaipur jewellery shops are not to be missed. Explore by walk or guided visit to one or two shops at Zaveri Bazaar (Jeweler's market).

Day 18: Jaipur – Delhi (250 Kms / 5 hrs) – Back home

Leisurely driven back to Delhi airport to board your international flight for onward destination with sweet memories of your India tour.
