Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Traditional welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport by Travel Pals India executive with fresh marigold flower garlands and then transferred by air-conditioned exclusive car to your reserved luxury hotel in downtown.

Day 2 : Delhi - The capital city

Introduced with your guide for a historic tour of Delhi. The city where one can experience the influence of the many rulers who ruled this region, a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven times. The guided tour takes you to the monuments that depict the different eras. The tour includes visit to the magnificent Red Fort (exterior), the Jama Masjid- one of the Asia's largest mosque, cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi passing through Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazaar etc, Humanyun's Tomb, Qutab Minar - 73 mt. tall minaret, India Gate war memorial, President's House and drive through Connaught Place.

Day 3 : Delhi - Samode (255 kms / 5 hrs)

Morning leisurely drive to Samode village in northern Rajasthan.

Spend the late afternoon exploring the quaint village of Samode on foot, cycles, jeep safari, camel back or horse back or simply relax and enjoy a picnic lunch in the mango orchard or the Samode Bagh (the garden resort) nearby.

For the more adventurous, ride the horses up the hillocks into the sand dunes. Or, do nothing and relax at the outdoor Jacuzzi or the pool bar. The palace in itself is a museum of painting and art. Overnight at the grand heritage palace.

Day 4 : Samode - Jaipur (45 kms / 1 hr)

Late checkout from the palace hotel and proceed for Jaipur - the Pink city of India. Upon arrival introduced with your English speaking guide for a tour of Jaipur covering Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Royal Astronomical Observatory).

Evening at leisure to enjoy a walk in the local bazaar which will be a treat to your eyes. Check-in facilitated by Travel Pals' representative at Taj's Rambagh Palace hotel - the erstwhile residence of the royalties of Jaipur. There is no other place like this to stay and be pampered like a royal.

​Day 5 : Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided excursion to the majestic Amber Fort on elephant back - the erstwhile capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs before they moved to their newly built capital in Jaipur. This is the only fort where one can still go by the elephant back even today like a Maharaja. You may also choose to ride up & down the fort in the jeeps.

Visit to a hand block printing factory and a textile export house followed by visit to a famous gems & jewellery exporter to make your eyes glitter with some of the finest pieces of semi-precious and precious stones.

Late afternoon, return to your palace.

Day 6 : Jaipur - Osian (300 Kms / 6 hrs)

Morning driven westward in to the Great Thar Desert of India to a small village called 'Osian' to stay at a luxury camel camp to give you the taste & feel of the life of royal on the move or during hunting.​

Evening leisurely stroll down to the nearby temples & the village and return to your camp to experience the folk dance entertainment followed by a sit down dinner.

Day 7 : Osian - Jodhpur (65 Kms / 1.5 hrs)

Morning camel safari to an oasis village Khetasar (2.30 hrs ride). Also visit the local potters, weavers, Bishnoi huts along the safari route. On reaching Khetasar you will be brought back to camp in 4 x 4's (Jeeps).

Post lunch driven to Jodhpur - the city founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. It is the second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. You will stay at the grand heritage palace Taj's Umaid Bhawan Palace hotel, the iconic landmark building where you will wish the stay never ends.

Day 8 : Jodhpur

A guided city sightseeing tour including grand Mehrangarh Fort - one of the largest forts in India, Jaswant Thada - a 19th century royal cenotaph, Mandore Gardens - The beautiful gardens with high rock terraces make it a popular picnic spot. The garden has a gate known as the Ajitpol, which is decorated with paintings of the gods and goddesses of Indian mythology & walk through the Clock Tower - In the old city, a prominent land mark.

Late afternoon, return to you palace.

Day 9 : Jodhpur - Udaipur (270 Kms / 5 hrs)

Today morning driven to Udaipur with en-route visit Ranakpur Jain temples, a fabulous stop for it's brilliant architecture and intricate carvings. One of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. It is home to an exceptionally beautiful temple complex in the Aravali ranges and a must visit for the tourists coming to this region. Ranakpur is tucked away in a remote valley in the Aravali range.​

Arrive Udaipur by late afternoon and check-in exclusive white marble palace literally seems floating in the middle of Lake Pichola - Taj's Lake Palace hotel or alternatively stay on the banks of the lake in a luxurious palace with private pool villa overlooking the gorgeous historic buildings of Udaipur.

Udaipur, the city of dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravalli mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples.

Day 10 : Udaipur

Relaxed breakfast followed by a guided visit to the city's popular Jagdish Temple with it's richly sculptured walls, further walk towards the City Palace compound gates through the narrow street. Visit the City Palace museum complex. It is located on the east bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex.

Visit Sahelion-ki-Bari - The 'garden of the maids of honour' brings to mind the lifestyle of the ladies of the court. You may also like to visit the Crystal Gallery which is a fine collection of crystals of every type & shape from the royal families of Udaipur over generations.

Afternoon return to your palace hotel.

Day 11 : Udaipur - Chittorgarh (115 kms / 2.5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel followed by drive to Chittorgarh, the well-established citadel and the capital of Mewar rulers.

Guided visit to the Chittorgarh Fort, which stands 180 mtrs high with each stone narrating its own story. Overnight stay at a heritage hotel.

Day 12 : Chittorgarh - Bundi (160 Kms / 3 hrs)

A leisurely drive to Bundi town. Afternoon guided visit to Taragarh Fort, Raniji-ki-Baoli, (Queen's step well) and Nagar Sagar Kund.

Day 13 : Bundi - Ranthambhore (150 Kms / 3 hrs)

Leisurely drive to Ranthambhore National Park in Sawai Madhopur district. Stay in a luxurious jungle resort & camp.

Day 14 : Ranthambhore National Park

Early morning jeep safari to the Ranthambhore National Park to see the King of the Jungle - the Indian Bengal Tiger. You will see abundant spotted deers, Sambar deer, blue antelope (nilgai), Chinkara Antelope (or Indian Gazelle), monkeys, langoors, wild boars, variety of bird species such as Flocks of Peafowl, while on the lakes Cotton Pygmy Geese and both Bronze-winged and Pheasant-tailed Jacanas are common. The surrounding woodland and grasslands hold such species as Black-rumped Flame back Woodpecker, Tickell's Blue Flycatcher, Rufous-tailed Finch Lark (an Indian endemic), Painted Spur fowl, Jungle Bush Quail, Small Minivet and Stork-billed Kingfisher. There's a possibility of seeing up to five species of owl, including Brown Fish Owl, Dusky Eagle Owl and Collared Scops Owl.

Return to resort for breakfast. We can also arrange a picnic breakfast with limited quantity to be enjoyed in the park.

Be ready for an afternoon jeep safari for a second chance to view the Tiger and the wildlife in action.

Return to camp by dusk. Bonfire with Tiger talks and dinner.

Day 15 : Ranthambhore - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Driven to Agra - the city of world famous 'Taj Mahal' - One of the seven wonder of the world. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. This erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See Darbar-e-Aam, Palaces, Panch Mahal and Taansen Seat.

Check-in one of the most preferred accommodation in the city , with direct un-spoilt mesmerising view of the Taj Mahal from every public area and each room (and bathroom as well in some category of rooms). It's a perfect way to make a spectacular and unforgettable end to your Indian sojourn.

Day 16 : Agra - Delhi  (210 Kms / 4 hrs)

Dawn-view visit of Taj Mahal to witness the wonder marble seems to change colours due to the rising sunlight. A UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal is best viewed & enjoyed in the non-chaotic and less crowded time of the day.

Return to hotel for breakfast.

Later driven back to Delhi international airport to connect your flight for onward journey with the sweet memories of India tour.
